Peter Biddulph's
shop is located off New Bond Street, in the heart of Mayfair. He opened
his first premises in London in 1978, trading under the partnership of
Biddulph & Moes. He previously worked at the prestigious firm of J.
& A. Beare Ltd. where he developed his expert eye and in-depth knowledge
of Italian instruments.

We offer a selection of violins, violas, cellos and bows for sale. These range from 19th century French, English and Italian instruments to masterworks of Stradivari and Guarneri. We offer bows by modern makers as well as the finest French bows by Tourte and Peccatte. Our clients have included Yehudi Menuhin, Vadim Repin, Maxim Vengerov, Nigel Kennedy and Ruggiero Ricci. Important instruments sold recently through Peter Biddulph include Menuhin's "Lord Wilton" Guarneri del Gesù, the "Prince Khevenhueller" Stradivari of 1733 and the "ex-Bonjour" Stradivari cello. If
